SEEKING THE HOLY SPIRIT
THE HOLY SPIRIT IS NECESSARY!
the bibel let us understand in Proverbs 9:10, that “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” this is the good FEAR!
Christians nowadays have forgotten that God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind 2 Timothy 1:7. This is the bad fear, hat shall not be found in a Christian.
The fear of living our christian Faith in a way that brings positive changes in the world is a big lack in our beliefs today.
Christians are afraid of life. We avoid everything that can bring us out of our comfort zone. We are afraid of confrontations, arguments, conflicts or difficulties. We are afraid of losing our reputation, and status in family, society etc. We are even afraid of so called friends and ashamed of our faith, so we SILENCE and HIDE the LIGHT within us.
We fear to bring the light of the gospel of glory of Christ to the world in a loving and powerful way. Instead we lose ourselves in religion. Religion cannot and will not save anyone.
We need the INFILLING of the HOLY SPIRIT! In this 21 days of Fasting and Prayer we invites you to seek the Holy Spirit with us, and ask of the revival of our soul, body and spirit. Amen!
February: Month of Bible Study
The Bible is our weapon. For it is written that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God to break down strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). Studying the Word of God brings us the glorious light of Christ and the knowledge of our victory and place in Christ so that the devil can no longer cover us with blindness. We need knowledge of the Word in order not to get lost in the world.
